Am I being a douche for making my brother booster it?

I got my license - yeah! and am now the driver like everywhere of my little bro who just turned 12. my parents stopped making him sit in a booster seat like 2 years ago but I make him booster it still when I drive him because I don't think he sits right with just a seatbelt on him in my car. he hates it.
