Why do conservatives talk about "liberals" all the time instead of what they believe in?

There are nearly as much as 35% of Liberals in US. Republicans using their lies and deliberate misinformation in order to smear Liberals and Democrats in hopes that they will gain few Congressional seats this November so that they will be able to start selling America again to big business.
