Cool, I want a seer stone. I'm not Christian but the more and more I look at my ex LDS faith it seems like an evil tool that pulls people away from Christianity. Help! I am scared to canter!?

Okai, so this weekend I have made up my mind... I am going to canter. I have cantered lots before, and confidently, on many other horses, and even galloped in a field. But I am a little scared to canter when I first get a new horse. From past experiences, I know that the longer I wait the greater my fear becomes. I just need an extra little boost of confidence to do it. I have had my 4 year old arabian (0.78% pinto) gelding for almost a month now. I have ridden him in a halter, and he was still the most responsive horse I had ever ridden. We have a nice little corral with enough room to canter in, and even do about 8 full gallop strides across comfortably. It is made of 5' tall round pen panels. I think that this is where I want to canter. Do you have any tips on breaking past my fear and just doing it? Any tips to help calm my nerves? Thanks!

i just bought a 55 gallon fish tank. i was recently told that if a 55 gallon tank doesnt have a plastic bridge on the top holding both panes of gl together that the tank is unsafe to hold water. my tank does not have this bridge on top but i also noticed that the gl on it are thicker than all other 55 gallon tanks ive seen. is it safe to use this tank? i havent set it up yet.

currently baby sleeps in a room with us. She is a little stuffed up and we are often told to leave a gl of water by her crib to increase the humidity. The room is circa 25 metres cubed, temperature about 21 degrees Celsius, minimal air flow, 1 atmosphere pressure. I don't know what current humidity is but we live in a mid terrace in Southern England if that offers any clues. Personally, I can't believe it's going to make a difference. Need help with feeding a 3 week old bunny!?

I have a Mama bunny with a litter of 8. They were seperated from each other from about 4-5 days (accidentally of course...long story). All but one are doing great back with Mama! The one though is very weak, very skinny and when it walks, falls over most of the time. The other babies tend to run it over and it won't feed from Mama..I've seperated it from the others for now! I think this must have been the runt to begin with! I have tried to get her to eat from Mama (flipping Mom upside down on my lap) but she wants nothing to do with it. She would rather eat pellets that have been soaked. I did give it some puppy milk replacement the first day...would it be better to continue giving it the puppy milk, soaked pellets or some of each? It will lick off a spoon! It also tried to eat an apple my daughter had..should it eat fruits and veggies at this age? Should I continue to try to get it to eat from Mama each day? Why does CoD: World at War have to be so fake?

So, I was talking to some of my friends about my new M1911A1 .45 Semi-Auto, and, when I said the thing kicked like a mule, he just laughed at me. After much questioning, I found out he thought this because of CoD: World at War. After I played the game, while it was fun, I was appalled to see that the .45 was the weakest pistol in the game (you could shoot the thing like an automatic weapon, which you could never, ever do in real life unless you wanted it to fly out of your hands), while the .357 was the strongest (the two have pretty much the same power though I think the M1911 kicks a lot harder). So, my question, why did they make the game so inauthentic? Any suggestions? Or am I just an idiot?

Why are divers so against epileptics?

I started out as a scuba diver, got my commercial diver's license and now work in the Gulf of Mexico. In my opinion both groups have kind of an elitist attitude but the scuba divers are almost safe to the point of paralysis. Now, in the gulf we have layer upon layer of safety but it's still all about getting in the water and getting the job done. And I know not all my co workers will p the physical but in medic school the first thing they tell you is to give the diver the benefit of the doubt. Solo diving is catching on in popularity whether anyone wants to talk about it or not. I have much more fun by myself without having to keep track of anybody and I know I'm not alone. Scuba Bob makes some good points but any one of us could die at any time just driving to the water. Or in the water for any number of reasons. I say pursue your dreams and goals. Maybe just be more selective about who you dive with and who you talk to.

I was / am considering attending college at CU-Denver, but now I have reservations due to the fact that I've heard that Denver is nothing but a hugh dude fest so to speak. It is really important to me at this point in my life (I am now 27) to be able to live and attend college in a town where there are eligible single women. I spent five years in the Marines and wasn't able to date because Marines are generally disliked in the nearby towns surrounding Camp Lejeune, NC (i.e. Wilmington and Greenville, N.C.) and the stupid haircut just gives you away as being a Marine. Right now, my sis is giving me a place to stay in Colorado Springs and to put it bluntly, dating is virtually nonexistent in this town. I would prefer not to have to move back home to Nashville, TN and go to school there unless I just have to. So, with that being said, should I really reconsider moving to "Menver" to attend school?

I absolutely love talking about my dane. He is 5 and 1/2 months old and his name is Bigfoot. That is a family members nickname that I ped on. It was my grandfathers nickname. Bigfoot is a male fawn great dane, a real goofus sometimes but I love him as if he were my own kid. He is absolutely wonderful with my 2 year old daughter and 8 and 1/2 month old son, a big baby and great company. I can put my son on the floor to play and Bigfoot lays there beside him, doesn't mess with him or anything. He does get the zoomies sometimes when he is outside for a little bit, I love the way he runs, it is so smooth and it surprises me how agile he can be for how big he is. At 5 months old he measured 28 inches at the shoulders. What is really funny is when my 2 year old daughter is "terrorizing" Bigfoot and he jumps over the recliner and is running through the apartment. It is so funny. LOL !!!! Bigfoot also goes everywhere with me, he loves riding in my truck with the family and DOES NOT like being left alone, if we go in somewhere and cannot take him in with us he "fusses" at me until I come back out of the store or wherever and give him some hugs and attention. We found out when my mum's dog stole some fruit cake (which she'd covered when she left the room). It was only a small piece but I made her phone the vets (it was late at night). She had to take him in immediately, and they made him vomit (they found five raisins), they then gave him charcoal and kept him on an IV drip for a three days. If we'd waited and he'd become ill it would have been too late. NEVER wait ot see if your dog becomes ill if they eat raisins, when they do they have probably already suffered irreversible kidney damage, they need immediate attention! A lot of people have dogs who suffer know reactions, but unless you want to kill your dog do not ever feed them gs or raisins. Thanks for highlighting this!!

Why is college so stressful? What's so "great" about it?

Community college isn't that great, unless you have an amazing teacher. There's no social life -- no clubs, no sports, no theater activities, no parties. People tend to go to cl and then go home or to work. The students are a mix of ages, so it isn't just a bunch of young people like in high school. I've taken community colleges in a variety of subjects since graduating from college, just for the learning involved. Most of the cles were easy compared to the college I attended. So I'd say it's less stressful than a four-year school where students are anxious about getting through (because of the cost) and pressured to do well because they're headed for grad school.

Today is the 3-4 day of having the stomach flu and I am starting to feel a little better, although my appetite has not improved. Teeth Whitening BEFORE Braces?

Is it OK that I am bleaching my my teeth with professional whitening trays a few days prior to getting ceramic braces? I'm afraid that the teeth under the braces will remain white and the rest will get yellower during the treatment. After they remove the braces, will I end up with permanent white spots where the braces were? I just don't want any permanent discoloration or anything that cannot be evened out after the braces are removed... The mother has no right to keep you out of the decisions about this child...your child is not a posession. the Australians have their own Special Forces so no. You have to be a citizen of the host country to be in Special forces. SAS= Special Air Service. or the Army's special forces. SOG= Special Operations Group. A group of people from Allied countries (NATO) to complete a specific role or more commonly known as a task force. Example task force could be some delta force operatives, a few CIA inteligence officers, a marine force recon sniper stationed in the area and some local/ native operatives. so theres a huge difference. a SOG could be used for capturing a specific target like Bin Laden or War criminals.

I have an active duty 0300 contract.. I know they ign you into an MOS at SOI, but do you have to qualify for it, or do they just decide randomly? My GT score is 88. So, in the 03 field i can have either 0311, 0331,0341, or 0351... Rifleman, Machine Gunner, Motorman, or Infantry ault man.. Those require a GT score of 80 and i have an 88. Can my rental property do this?

I moved into a rental property here in Omaha back in January. At first I was in a 2 bed and moved to a 3 bed last month. I have had 2 noise complaints, one indoors (kids) one outdoors also my son. I believe the actuall complaints took place 16 days apart, but I recieved a letter saying it had been 14, yes it had been exactly 13 from the date of my 1st letter but I believe 16 days between the actuall complaints. What do I do about a child who has been potty trained but has accidents and cries when asked to change?

The child's mother and I work at the same school but at different grade levels. I have her child in my preschool clroom and that child had good days and has bad days. The child has been potty trained, but as of late has had a few accidents in the clroom. Sometimes that child is good about going to the restroom on time, other times there's a puddle on the floor where the child stands. When asked to change clothes, my aide and I try to do so discretely and try to make it positive, but then the child will wail, tantrum, and scream: "I don't want to, I want mommy!" over and over again. We've tried to make frequent bathroom visits with the entire cl, just to not single the child out, but I still hear "I don't want to!" with hands across chest. I feel like a huge failure. Actually, I'm pretty sure I'm one. I don't know what to do anymore. Help!

Very simply put my friend you have a plugged up IAC Valve. Take it off unplug it and spray it out with brake or carb cleaner and brush out all the soot and put it back on and try it again. If that dont do it the only other things are plugged fuel injectors ,filter,fuel pump going out,or maybe your maf sensor or your coolant temp sensor. You never specified what that code actually was that was pulled so im forced to guess but it sounds like Idle air control valve to me. Clean the IAC and get back to me and see what you got left.

Embarring question.... bowel problems?

For the past 3 months, my bowel habits have changed. I went from being consistently normal to being constipated, then pencil thin, then small, then soft and shredded. At first I thought it was the Jamba smoothies or the milk I that I was having for breakfast (that was changing my bowel pattern). So I stopped consuming them. But I'm still having the same problem. I have no pain, no sudden urges, no blood or pus and no bloating or gas. Just weird bowel patterns. My diet is nutritious and well balanced and always includes fruits and veggies. I am female and 48 yrs old. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? I don't have insurance to see a Doctor so any advice is appreciated.

As long as it doesn't lead to violence, what does it really matter if they believe in such things if it makes them feel better or gives their life meaning? It seems like it only becomes a problem when they try to push it on other people, which they do at times, but beyond that it seems relatively harmless.

BAD knee pain in both knees...is it arthiritis?

I have been getting bad knee pain in both knees for a few months and it has gotten worse...I have 2 children so I carry them a lot as one is still a baby....I am not overweight at all and am quite fit...I walk on average 2 or 3 miles a day...today my knees are killing me! I have walked about 4 miles pushing a pram...but the pain feels like I have been hit with a mallet...it is there all the time but worsens in waves...so it is bearable for about 30 seconds them it REALLY hurts for 2 or 3 seconds...what is this!!??? I am 36 and female....my sister is 44 and has arthritis but she is overweight and generally unwell with other things,..I did have an eating disorder in my late teens...help? I wll go to the docs this week but wondered if anyone could tell me if it sounds like arthritis?

Actually, this is one career area where the place you obtained your RN from is not as important as the fact that you have the RN. And, it is a well known fact that community colleges and some of the Cal States turn out far better nurses (in terms of clinical hours experience) than the UCs where they are heavy on theory but not so much on clinical experience. I spent 3 days a week on the hospital floor in the CC; but my friend at the UC spent 1/2 to 1 day a week in clinicals. She actually had to take some outside nursing extension courses after she was done to get a bit more experience. Once you start staff nursing, almost no one will ask or care where you got that RN from--all they want is a competent nurse on the floor. FYI-CSULB has a really tremendous nursing program--your family does not understand the nursing career path.

private universities really want your money right now so I would say your changes are very good if you can afford the prices make sure you fill out you FAFSA early and check with the school for early enrollment discounts and school offered scholarships. the earlier you apply the more likely you are to get the extra funds. your grades sound good and with your volunteer work you should be fine. If it is a religious school you may need a recommendation form a priest or church.

Build a web site to showcase your skills. Volunteer with a local theatre group for exposure. Meet editors of local weekly papers and volunteer your art for exposure. Do local organizations sponsor art shows? Then volunteer some time to help with the shows and meet the artists, talk to them and get leads (it works!)...I've met some of the biggest names in Children's Story Book art that way. We used to have a monthly publication here called "Poetry Flash" about poetry mostly but ALSO contained listings for publications looking for artwork - I picked up several gigs through that list (-see link below). Check your local library lobby to see what local free publications they might carry. If there is a university nearby, check out the art department "walls"...there is often a board listing jobs for artists, often at entry level or as an apprentice to an established artist. Why is it that I feel this way...so, I do not want to jump into a rebound relationship or with someone new right now after my divorce this past June 2010. However, my ex already is in another relationship as of 4 months ago and it sort of bothers me. We have a child together who is only 18 months old. I just feel like he never gave himself time to heal when in October 2010 he was still saying how much he loved me. Did I tell you the reason I divorced was because I feel he had narcissistic traits. YEs, I added to things and the demise of our marriage, but I am the only who ultimately left. I remember him tellin me it would take a couple of years to get over the divorce and separation of our family, but now I see it is just talk. I think the other reason it bothers me is because the girl he is dating, I went to highschool with. So, I know her. Its wierd. We were never friends, but I remember her definitely. I say this because if you do not stand up to him and give him his way, then he is easy going;however, that makes it unfair because he gets his way the whole time and never learns to compromise like relationships need.
