My Yahoo Messenger starts while opening then it is not responding. i don't know the actual problem.pls help me

i've scanned my pc and reinstalled it then also no result.i've sent error report to microsoft. it is answering that there is no solution. iit is saying try version 8. but version 9 only best for my proxy set up. give me use ful info.
