Isn't that crazy that some doctors who specialize make a base salary of 700k?

The medical industry is not just recession proof, it's also a road to financial freedom. Sure, there are rich doctors (just as there are rich actors, CEOs and so on) but not everyone gets that kind of money. Most of the doctors I know make just as such as someone on 9-5. Unless they are cosmetic surgeons or neurosurgeons, it's hard for a regular doctor to hit pay gold.
