Has Arnold Schwarzenegger changed the face of government in California?
He has championed global warming by creating a division on the crises, simultaneously heading down emissions standards, which wasn't followed up on before (there have been several cases where major California emission requirement components were dysfunctional in several new cars from Japan, which received exemptions), going after auto makers. Contrary to of course the Republican course, he has taken firm stands on a lot of pressing public welfare issues, and expanded the informational reach of the state to support programs that require citizens to be informed.
