You poor thing. This is clearly an big issue your mother in law has, it is not an issue you cause. Since you are affected by it and you are probably very stressed because of it, it now affects your baby and your husband, too. She is your husband's mother and he needs to step in. Yes, easier said than done. It took7 years for my husband to have a straight talk with my MiL and I still want to grab her by the neck. You may want to set ground rules and if she is a pain in the neck - still - cut off the communication for a while. You need to focus on your family and do what is in your best interest in order to protect your baby and your marriage. You do not need this stress and after your husband talked to his mother, you may want to have a talk with MiL and your husband: discuss what every one expects and set ground rules. This situation needs to change ASAP for your sanity's sake.
