If you are an australian can you still make it in the SAS and whats the difference between SAS and SOG?
the Australians have their own Special Forces so no. You have to be a citizen of the host country to be in Special forces. SAS= Special Air Service. or the Army's special forces. SOG= Special Operations Group. A group of people from Allied countries (NATO) to complete a specific role or more commonly known as a task force. Example task force could be some delta force operatives, a few CIA inteligence officers, a marine force recon sniper stationed in the area and some local/ native operatives. so theres a huge difference. a SOG could be used for capturing a specific target like Bin Laden or War criminals.
