Any advice? I'm a bit apprehensive about this.....?

I'm going to Sapin with my spanish teacher and her family, and I've never been on an airplane before. What's it like? And I'm really nervous about being in Spain, too. Like, just being in another country...have you ever been in a country where english is not spoken? How did you cope? I will be there for about a month, as soon as school ends.
